We specialise in blasting
work in sensitive underwater areas such as near quays, underwater structures,
pipelines, cable routes, marine reserves or other sensitive underwater areas.
In these areas, commercial or military explosives cannot be used because
of ground shock propagation problems and the resultant damage to the infrastructure.
We use Green Break Technology that produces low vibration resulting
in minimal damage to surrounding rock and infrastructure and low overpressures
resulting in minimal concussion effects. Our divers can even be in the water when
we initiate the Green Break Technology which means that sea life remains unaffected by the overpressures.
We also do not need to evacuate the area as is the case with conventional underwater
explosives blasting.
