Route Surveys, Marine Engineering Site Surveys & Wreck & Pipeline Surveys:
Prior to laying any type of cable or development of a harbour in the
marine environment, a thorough survey must be conducted to ascertain sub
bottom conditions, seabed conditions, seabed obstacles and the absence
or presence of explosive remnants of war and UXOs. ProDive
Solutions has the capability to conduct these surveys using state of the art
multi-beam sonars and sub-bottom profilers that can map the area to
sub-metric accuracy. This map is then interpreted by specialists to ascertain
that the area is free of explosive remnants of war and UXOs and
if it is not then we can clear the area for the client. The end product
is captured on a marine geographical information system (GIS) and can include
fly throughs of the area and detailed video and still photographs of the salient
features of the area. In the case of a marine engineering survey,
we have on-site marine and civil engineers that can process the raw data
into a form that can be used for engineering purposes. For wreck and
pipeline surveys we can utilize multi-beam sonars, side-scan sonars, divers,
ROVs or any combination depending on the client's requirements and the environmental
conditions of the work site. Again the end result can be interpreted and captured
on a GIS for hand over to the client. |
