We utilise
a wide variety of specialists such as geologists, geophysicists,
oceanographers, offshore surveyors, clearance divers, sonar operators,
explosive ordnance disposal operators, boat coxswains,
GIS specialists etc and welcome curriculum vitae from
interested parties.
We draw on
a core of carefully selected personnel who have internationally
accepted qualifications and are well respected in their respective
fields of expertise. We also maintain an extensive database of
specialists that can supplement this core when required.
Our divers
are all trained to both IMCA/UKOOA and naval mine clearance
diving standards and have been deployed in various tasks ranging
from sea mine clearance to body recovery.
We have also
embarked on a program of social and economic upliftment
within in the previously disadvantaged groups of South
Africa. The aim of the program is social and economic upliftment
through skills development and training so as to produce
employable, experienced commercial divers that can enter the international
diving arena.

Our personnel
are supported by a substantial but simple Development Training
System. This system consists of both Initial Development Training
(IDT) and Continued Development Training (CDT).
Irrespective
of the experience of the person, everyone undergoes IDT consisting
of in-house training courses, which meet the IMCA Competence Assurance
guidelines. This ensures that the individual has a thorough knowledge
of standard operating procedures and is competent and comfortable
in the work that has to be done.
The CDT consists
of further specialist training offered by manufacturers and certification
bodies, and special technical events organised by ProDive Solutions.
This ensures that all personnel remain fit and ready to be deployed
at short notice. This also ensures that they are up to date with
the latest techniques and threats that could they might be faced
with.
The quality
of personnel we have supporting our business, together with the
relationships we enjoy with various manufacturers, has allowed
us to add a dimension to our services and personnel development
unique in the industry. These same people also allow us to deliver
a high standard of service in accordance with proven quality and
safety management systems. It is these systems that allow us to
